In Ningi Local Government Area, ensuring proper management of resources is crucial for improving service delivery and fostering community development. Auditors play a critical role in detecting and preventing resource mismanagement by conducting thorough audits, identifying financial discrepancies, and recommending corrective measures. This study explores the role of auditors in preventing resource mismanagement in Ningi Local Government Area.

Statement of the Problem

  2. Challenges such as inadequate training and limited access to financial data hinder auditors from effectively preventing resource mismanagement.
  3. Strengthening auditing processes will reduce instances of resource mismanagement in Ningi Local Government Area.
